Founded in Toronto, AZ is a design-focused practice with a diverse portfolio spanning residential and commercial architecture, renovations, adaptive reuse, and comprehensive urban planning.
The firm offers full-service architectural support across all project stages. Our work is grounded in a thoughtful understanding of context, functionality, and design, while drawing on extensive experience with Ontario’s regulatory frameworks and municipal approval processes. We believe successful architecture emerges from the balance between creative exploration and practical resolution.
Working collaboratively across disciplines, our team approaches each project with curiosity and a willingness to challenge conventional ideas. A sense of play, discovery, and the unexpected often becomes an integral part of our designs, resulting in spaces that are distinctive, engaging, and responsive to their surroundings. This commitment has made AZ a trusted partner for private developers, non-profit agencies, and institutional clients.
